This research proposal is centered on the integration of permaculture design and participatory democracy methodologies to empower Indigenous and/or geographically localized communities. The intervention is designed to be multi-dimensional, addressing not just specific health outcomes but also fostering systemic socio-economic stability. Applicable to a diverse range of communities—from economically distressed suburbs in Argentina to agrarian societies in Lesotho, this approach aims to create resilient, self-sufficient communities capable of meaningful participation in modern socio-economic structures. We invite stakeholders to collaborate in this pioneering endeavor to enact transformative change.
